N.J.'s Ice-T and Coco welcome baby girl

Ice and Coco are now Ice and Coco and Chanel. 

Bergen County residents Tracy Marrow -- aka gangsta rap pioneer Ice-T -- and Coco Austin are new parents to a baby girl named Chanel Nicole. They announced the baby's early arrival via Twitter Saturday afternoon.

"Surprise!!!" tweeted Austin, 36. "Look who came early!! Welcome the new arrival of Chanel Nicole.. A beautiful healthy 5.7 pound baby girl."

Austin, a model and actress, posted a photo of herself and her "37 week bump" earlier today. "This baby is coming early," she wrote. "A mother('s) intuition." This is her first child.

Newark native Marrow, 57, a cast member of "Law & Order: SVU," already has two children and grew up in Summit before moving to Los Angeles, where he became known as one of the originators of gangsta rap.

"Ladies and Gentlemen!" he tweeted Saturday afternoon, "Please allow me to introduce to the World.... Baby Chanel 5.7 pounds. Love is Love."

The pair, who got married in 2001, announced both the name and gender of their baby on the first episode of their Fox talk show "Ice & Coco" in August. Marrow and Austin, who formerly starred in the reality show "Ice Loves Coco," which ran on E! for three seasons, live in Edgewater. Their talk show had a three-week trial run this past summer.

"Since this is my first child, I don't know what the hell I'm doing," Austin told NJ Advance Media in July. Chanel joins two other treasured residents of the household -- Maximus and Spartacus, the couple's bulldogs.

The baby already has her own Twitter account, @BabyChanelWorld, styled after her mother's account, @CocosWorld.
