PLEASANTVILLE - A city man died after being shot multiple times Sunday afternoon, authorities confirmed today.
Equallie Bumpass, 36, was pronounced dead at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center at 2:48 p.m., the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said in a statement.
He had been rushed to the Atlantic City hospital after being found suffering from serious injuries on the 300 block of East Greenfield Avenue in Pleasantville just over an hour earlier.
No arrests have been made, and authorities released no information on any potential motive or suspects in the slaying.

An investigation into Bumpass' death remains active, and an autopsy was scheduled for Monday, prosecutors said.
