(Robert Sciarrino | The Star-Ledger).MANALAPAN -- A 21-year-old township man was hospitalized Wednesday night after he crashed his motorcycle, police said.
At around 5:45 p.m., police responded to Iron Ore Road between Daum and Day Grove roads for a report of a single-vehicle crash involving a motorcyclist, said Deputy Chief Michael Fountain.
He said Michael Kaplan was riding his motorcycle on Iron Ore Road when it went off the roadway and crashed into the trees.
Kaplan sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune.
No additional information about the crash was available, and it remains under investigation, Kaplan said.
