One person is dead following a fire in a home on Fletcher Avenue Saturday morning, according to a report.
ORADELL -- One person is died following a Saturday morning fire in a home on Fletcher Avenue, according to a report.
The name of the deceased was not being released, and four other occupants of the one-family house were displaced by the fire, which started at 9:49 a.m. and is under investigation, Oradell Capt. William Wicker told The Record.

When NJ Advance Media arrived at the scene at noon, the fire was extinguished, but authorities declined comment, saying they needed to speak to the family before issuing a statement. Neighbors who were gathered solemnly on the sidewalk also declined comment.
The Oradell Police Department and the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office have not yet responded to inquiries about the fire and the deceased.
