How performed best during the Republican presidential debate Saturday night?
TRENTON -- Well, that was a lively one.
Saturday night's eighth Republican presidential debate in Manchester, N.H. featured lots of fireworks as GOP candidates took aim at each other more than Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton.
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie went after U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida in a five-minute exchange that featured everything from Christie calling Rubio a "truant" to Rubio bringing up Christie's "mop" controversy.
Businessman Donald Trump and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush tangled over eminent domain, with Trump at one point trying to shush Bush.
The three-hour affair (including ABC commentary) also saw Ohio Gov. John Kasich trying to win points with a more positive message, while Trump and Dr. Ben Carson talked about how the campaign of U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas on Monday night told some voters caucusing in Iowa that Carson had decided suspend his campaign. "I'm still here," Carson said.
And there was lots more.
