One person was transported to the hospital Saturday night after crashing their car into a fence and pole, overturning the vehicle, at a Wendy's in Bordentown.

BORDENTOWN TOWNSHIP  -- One person was injured Saturday night when a car crashed through a fence, hit a pole and landed overturned in the parking lot of a Wendy's, police said.

Police said Sunday the car had several occupants, but only one person was injured, and was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton.

Police were called to the Wendy's on Route 206 south at 11:19 p.m. Saturday on a report of an overturned vehicle, police said.

Police and firefighters arrived and found a person still in the wrecked car, and had to be removed by the first responders.

No other information on the victim or cause of the accident was available Sunday afternoon.
