ATLANTIC CITY - Police are asking for the public's help tracking down a suspect wanted for a Thursday night stabbing.
Jameel Muhammad, 53, has been charged with aggravated assault and weapons offenses in connection with the attack that left a man with life-threatening injuries, Sgt. Kevin Fair of the Atlantic City police said in a statement.
Officers found the victim on the 1900 block of Beach Avenue around 9:30 p.m. Thursday, and rushed him to AtlanticCare Regional Medical Center, according to Fair.
Muhammad was quickly identified as a suspect after fleeing the scene on foot, but officers have been unable to locate him in the days following the attack.
