A disagreement soon turned violent, and led one woman to discharged pepper spray, police said.
FREEHOLD -- No charges are expected to be filed after a brawl broke out between several women Sunday afternoon at iPlay America amusement center.
The scuffle between four women began after one child cut another in line, said Freehold police Sgt. Scott Keenan.
What started as an argument between the women soon turned physical, Keenan said. He said a woman was being escorted out by security when three women approached her.
She was then attacked by one woman in the group, and discharged pepper spray as a deterrent, Keenan said.
Keenan said the police reviewed the surveillance tape, and deemed the incident a "mutual altercation." He said police will likely not file charges, but the people involved in the altercation could if they choose to.
No injuries were reported in the incident, Keenan said, and no children were around when the fight broke out.
On Sunday, a handful of police cruisers were parked outside the complex but people continued to enter and exit as if nothing was happening. One officer patrolled the parking lot.
Billed as an "indoor amusement park", iPlay America includes go-karts, laser tag, an arcade and other attractions, according to its website. The amusement center announced in January a massive $2.5 million expansion that will bring a coffee shop, banquet space, new arcade games and food outlets, and the state's largest indoor high-ropes course.
