MVC officials say driver's license and non-driver ID systems are back up.
TRENTON -- Driver license and ID services at Motor Vehicle Commission branches across the state are back up and running after coming to a halt Tuesday.
The MVC's driver's licensing and non-driver ID transaction systems were out of service Tuesday, "due to computer difficulties," the agency said. Motorists reported long lines and waits statewide.
Other services, including registration and titling, were still available.
But as of Wednesday morning, the systems were repaired and back up, the MVC said.
Day two at the @NJ_MVC. Got here 15 minutes earlier and the outside line is even longer than it was yesterday. #njdmv
