The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey Police Department took on the Philadelphia Police yesterday in Bayonne for a hockey game that honored one of their own.
The game was held in honor of Port Authority police officer Eamonn Mautone, who died in a car crash in December on the New Jersey Turnpike in East Brunswick.
Mautone had been on the force for just over a year at the time. At his funeral, he was mourned as a young man who was "a force of good," NJ Advance Media reported.
The above photo gallery highlights some of the action from the game, held at the Richard Korpi Ice Rink.
