Tuesday's jackpot climbs to $108 million
A Mega Millons ticket worth $1 million was purchased in New Jersey for the second consecutive drawing.
The ticket for Friday's drawing matched five numbers but not the Mega Ball. State lottery officials will announce the store that sold the lucky ticket later Monday.
Friday's winning numbers were 2, 19, 21, 42 and 60. The Mega Ball was 13. The $1 million ticket would have worth $5 million if the buyer spent an extra $1 to exercise the Megaplier option.
No one hit the jackpot, pushing Tuesday's top prize to $108 million with a cash option of $69 million.
A $1 million Mega Millions ticket was also bought in New York for Friday's drawing.
In the previous April 20 drawing, a $1 million ticket was sold at a Burlington County convenience store. The odds of a ticket matching five numbers but not the Mega Ball are 18,492,204 to 1.
Mega Millions is played in 44 states, Washington D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
