Hamilton Township police are investigating whether the heroin in the overdoses came from the same source.
HAMILTON TWP. -- Four people have overdosed over the past four days from heroin that may have come from the same dealer, township police said.
Hamilton Township Police Department warned the community about the overdoses Tuesday night. The department is working with New Jersey State Police's Drug Monitoring Initiative to identify, link and investigate overdose cases.
The two weekend overdose cases involved heroin in red wax bags, which were recovered at both scenes. When authorities responded to overdoses on Monday and Tuesday, they found blue wax bags at the scene.
