EVESHAM TWP. -- Police arrested a man for illegally possessing a gun after a traffic stop Thursday morning, authorities said.
An announcement from Evesham police said an officer saw a vehicle "being driven in an erratic manner" on Route 73 just after 8 a.m. Thursday. A search of the vehicle with the help of a K-9 unit turned up a handgun.
Jonathan Lynam, 24, of Philadelphia, was charged with second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm and second-degree possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He was held at the Burlington County Jail in default of $50,000 bail.
