PILESGROVE TWP. -- A motor vehicle stop led to the arrest of two N.J. men on drug charges Thursday, New Jersey State Police said.
Authorities stopped a 2005 black Mazda 6 for a motor vehicle violation and detected the odor of marijuana when approaching the car, police said.
The car was driven by James Roane III, 22, of Carneys Point and Brandon Atkinson, 22, of the same town, was a passenger.

After searching the vehicle, police found marijuana hidden in an aerosol can with a false bottom.
Police also located packing material with Clonazepam pills.
Roane and Atkinson were charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of CDS with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and prescription drugs.
Both Roane and Atkinson were processed and released pending further court action.
