A man and a woman were attacked in the Tropicana parking garage in May 2011, reports say. The three men charged will now get new trials.
ATLANTIC CITY -- The convictions of three men who were found guilty of attacking a man and woman in an Atlantic City casino parking garage have been overturned, the Press of Atlantic City reports.
Now the men, Brandon Cooper, Brad Johnson and Leon Peterson, will get new trials after the decision by an appeals court.
The Copper and Johnson had been convicted of aggravated sexual assault and sexual assault on a woman in the Tropicana parking garage. A man with the woman was beaten and robbed.

The argument had been there was not enough evidence for a conviction and the appellate court agreed, according to The Press.
The incident is reported to have taken place around 4 a.m. on May 28, 2011.
Leon Peterson, the third man who police said was involved, was not accused of assaulting the woman, but was found guilty of first-degree robbery in the attack on the male victim, The Press said.
