Man exposes himself to Princeton Univ. student on a towpath near campus

Police are searching for a man who exposed himself to a student on a towpath near Princeton University's campus Friday

PRINCETON - A man wearing a surgical mask and no pants exposed himself to a student on a towpath near Princeton University's campus Friday morning, according to police. 

The Police Department issued an alert Friday after a student told officers the man exposed himself to her while she was walking on the towpath between Washington Road and South Harrison Street around 11:45 a.m., according to the alert.

The man was around 40-years-old and 6 feet tall. He was wearing a beige, dirty surgical mask, sunglasses and a navy blue hooded sweatshirt but no pants, according to the alert. 

The student told police the man was walking north toward Plainsboro. 

Police responded to the area but couldn't find the man. They urge anyone with information to call the Police Department at (609) 921-2100.
