Attack occurred Friday at a hotel where the victim and assailant were staying, police said
BORDENTOWN TOWNSHIP-- A Georgia man was arrested after he allegedly tried to gouge out the eyes of a co-worker, the Burlington County Times reported.
Theodore Beecroft, 48, of Saint Simon's Island, jumped the victim and went for the victim's eyes with his thumbs before running into a wooded area behind the Days Inn on Rt. 206 Friday, police said. Beecroft, the victim and other co-workers were staying at the hotel.
He was being held on $10,000 bail at the Burlington County Jail earlier Friday.
