Patrick Banas of Trenton pleaded guilty to robbing the First Bank on Kuser Road in Hamilton in April.
TRENTON -- A Trenton man will serve a special probationary term for robbing a Hamilton bank in April, officials said.
Patrick Banas, 36, pleaded guilty in October to robbing the First Bank on Kuser Road in Hamilton in April.
Authorities have previously said Banas robbed the branch of $300 to feed his drug habit.
And during a court hearing following his April arrest, Banas' lawyer said he had a drug problem and wanted to apply to the drug court program.
That's the deal Banas struck with the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office, officials said.

A plea agreement with Banas calls for him to serve a five-year special probation term in which he had to enroll in the Mercer County Drug Court program, the prosecutor's office said.
Banas was arrested a day after the robbery and spent from April to October behind bars awaiting trial, and that jail term was also part of his sentence, records show.
Coincidentally, the same First Bank branch was robbed a month before by another man.
