So the billionaire businessman is taking it upon himself to liven things up -- by live-tweeting the event on his Twitter page.
The idea isn't necessarily a new one in the 2016 race: Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton live-tweeted the second Republican debate last month.
But any time Trump might unleash a barrage of his trademark insults and controversial comments, people have paid attention. The real estate mogul and former Atlantic City casino magnate -- who leads his 14 GOP opponents, including New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, in the polls -- helped bring record ratings to the first two Republican debates.

Tuesday's debate -- in which Clinton will face Bernie Sanders and three other opponents -- isn't expected to draw as large a crowd. The two-hour event, airing on CNN, begins 8:30 p.m. Eastern time.
